The Piece

Hans is not an off-the-shelf decorative item. He is a piece of handcrafted metal that smells of the harbor – even if he hangs on the living room wall, stands in the garden, or guards the entrance of a restaurant.

Each Hans is individually crafted in the workshop. Cut, bent, welded, refined. The result is an object with weight, character, and a surface that you want to look at.

Surface

The anthracite finish is the most durable of the three variants. The steel is first hot-dip galvanized – this is the most reliable corrosion protection metal can get – and then powder-coated in anthracite. The surface is more impact and scratch-resistant than any paint, UV-resistant, and can withstand permanent weather conditions. The first choice for outdoor areas.

Personalization

The curved stainless steel sign bears your desired text – a boat name, a date, a name, a place. The letters are flame-cut from the stainless steel. Not an engraving, not a sticker. The lettering is part of the material.

Highly polished brass nuts and a natural-colored 36mm rope complete the picture.

Craftsmanship

All connections are fully TIG-welded. This is the most precise welding process available – uniform, clean seams without compromise. No piece leaves the workshop that does not meet this standard.
