Transformation – When Old Stories Are Retold

Every object has a story. A rusty bicycle that stood in the cellar for years. An old bathtub that seems to have served its purpose. An engine block silently recalling past journeys. A piece of furniture that has accompanied generations.

At Binnenbande, this story doesn't end – it begins anew.

What is possible?

From a single everyday object to a large-scale art piece: The scope is as individual as the object itself. Whether an old anchor becomes a coffee table, a ship's bell a wall sculpture, a gear housing a floor lamp, or a weathered wooden door a room divider with a steel frame – the limits are set only by material and imagination.

Almost any material can be processed: metal, wood, glass, concrete, textile, leather, plastics, machine and vehicle parts, furniture, household and industrial objects. Anything that possesses emotional, historical, or aesthetic value deserves a second chance – in a new form, with a new function, or as a pure work of art that simply exists.

Craftsmanship meets Art

Behind every transformation lies years of experience and a broad range of craftsmanship: welding, forging, grinding, constructing, painting, joining – combined with an artistic eye for design, proportion, and aesthetics. As a master metalworker, I bring the technical skill needed to not only dream up ideas but to implement them durably and safely.

Upcycling at Binnenbande is not a trend. It is my dream job – the combination of artisanal precision, creative freedom, and the deep conviction that sometimes the best is already there. It just needs to be seen anew.

Your Object. Your Story. Our Shared Unique Piece.

Every project begins with a conversation – about the object, about your ideas, about the space where it will eventually stand. This leads to an initial sketch where your visions and my creativity meet. Together, we develop something that is truly one-of-a-kind.
